About the Festival

The 2012 Manchester Children's Book Festival - a biennial celebration of reading - will be eleven days of fun, events and activities to inspire children to read.

Hosted by the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy and the Manchester Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University, the 2012 festival follows on from the successful 2010 event.

We have a range of exciting opportunities for local and national businesses to invest in the festival, promoting external brands and raising corporate profiles to the wide audience of this major literary event. What would we gain from sponsoring this event?
